Editor's Review Celebrate 25 years of Dora the Explorer with all-new toys inspired by the Paramount TV series. All of the toys are for ages 3 and up, and each is sold separately.  The Rainforest Rhythms Microphone plays five different songs that kids can sing along with. Just press the Dora button to activate them. Press the Boots button to hear more than 15 sound effects and phrases. Two AAA batteries are included. The microphone has two volume levels. It does not act as a real microphone to amplify kids’ voices, but it is fun for pretend. A collectible card is included with a lenticular image that introduces a Spanish word and its English translation. My Adventure Backpack looks like Dora’s signature backpack. This eight-inch tall toy features moving eyes and mouth when you pull the tassel. Plus, there’s a pull-out map that retracts when you twist the map’s top, pretend binoculars, and a pretend compass with spinning arrows. The backpack even opens up for storage, and the adjustable straps make it easy and comfortable for kids to wear.  The Explore & Play Rainforest Casita includes figures of Dora and Boots, plus eight accessories and music and sounds. There’s lots for Dora and Boots to do, including a slide, swinging vines, a dance stage, and a wobbly bridge, not to mention playing in the casita’s bathroom, bedroom, kitchen, and living room. They might even reveal Swiper. There’s also a guitar and backpack for the Dora figure to wear. Place Dora on the circular stand in the kitchen and press down to activate sounds and phrases in English and Spanish. There are actually three modes: English, Sounds Only, and Spanish. Two AAA batteries are not included. This set also includes a collectible card with a lenticular image that introduces a Spanish word and its English translation. Price Check $12.99 Should I get it? All three of these playsets will be fun for fans of the TV series. The microphone and backpack inspire imaginative roleplay, while the sounds and music of the microphone and Casita bring the characters to life.
